Long time friends and collaborators in the 1980s and 90s, Dwight Loop, Arnold Bodmer (Wunndermann) and Justin Parker in a spontaneous, multi-track recording made in the fall of2008 over a two-day period. Experiential electronic, and acoustic music made with synthesizers, (Loop, Bodmer) and recorder, percussion, synths (Parker). Each song a collage of exploratory rythms and melodies. Fascinating musical minds at work. Not big egos, just rampant!

Rampant Egos "Shape Shifter" 2009

More world-beat influences including Middle East and African. "Gaza," "Fate" (with poem by Justin Parker) "Ayotolla Shmolla..." "Shape Shifter" has garnered much airplay on Albuquerque public radio station KUNM on the free-form and specialty shows. Lots of rhythmic forays into other-worldly territory here. Spoken poems by Loop and Parker throughout lead to mysterious consequences as usual. A stunning record with deep intention, and world-changing consciousness.
